Decorators and designers are welcome to come to our workshops to discuss projects and meet with our team. That way every step of the process whether it be the restoration or decoration of an item or the manufacture of something entirely new can be carefully overseen by all parties involved.

Hatfields emerged in the 19th century as Britain’s chief producer of gilded bronze (ormolu) and brass. Over the years we have maintained our tradition and built up a superb collection / archive of mounts for furniture and domestic usage.  The archive is available to inspect in our Clapham workshops and if you are a decorator looking for brass or bronze furnishing for a house then we can provide any amount of items to your specifications. We regularly make up lengths of solid brass chain to hang lanterns and chandeliers and can make anything from a miniscule key to handles, mounts and fingerplates.

At Hatfields we are equipped to take on any job, nothing is too big or indeed too small. Please feel free to contact us at the address below and we will be very happy to discuss your requirements.  We use traditional methods and materials where appropriate, combined with the latest technologies.
